Emotional Freedom Techniques

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an evidence based practical mind/body intervention that can promote healing from stress, trauma, and adversity.  EFT is a gentle set of techniques that can be used in a short space of time to bring about feelings of peace and calm into the mind/body system.

EFT can be used, as part of counselling or as a standalone therapeutic intervention. It is proven to be very effective in helping individuals who are experiencing post traumatic stress either due to a single-event or more complex repeated traumas.

EFT is effective on a wide range of emotional distress ranging from recent events to events that happened in our childhood. It can be used, as a method to reconsolidate traumatic memories so that they no longer have the emotional impact that they currently have on you.
